hi there,
if you read some press reports on this incident, you’ll notice that devarajan had one gun earlier. he bought another gun(presumably used in the crime) a week before the encounter.
we don’t know if this was pre-meditated or on the spur.
Either way, guns don’t belong in houses!

In a civilized society state should take care of protection of citizens, that’s why we pay taxes. Self-defense with gun was acceptable and needed in wild-west days. I would think those days are long gone in most of USA.
