WordPress Source Code Cross Reference w/ Commenting for Plugin / Theme / Code DevelopersMay 15th, 2006 We are doing extensive work with WordPress, developing plugins, themes and also modifying the code base where necessary. Its kind of getting painful deleting "texas-holdem", "debt-consolidation" emails by hand. What wordpress needs is a bulk moderation folder where such emails can be automatically dumped and if un-moderated deleted after say 30 days.

Files Changed from WordPress 1.5.1.3 to WordPress 1.5.2August 24th, 2005 After briefly scanning the eleven defects fixed in 1.5.2 (an interim release before WordPress 1.6) I identified the changed files. They are:
xmlrpc.php
comment-functions.php
wp-admin/post.php
pluggable-functions.php
registration-functions.php
wp-admin/categories.php
wp-commentsrss2.php
wp-includes/template-functions-category.php
edit-page-form.php
I am shortly planning to provide a patch update from 1.5.1.3 to 1.5.2.
Abusing Comment Name field for SEO.. No SirSeptember 9th, 2007 Sometimes I see comments where the name of the person is not really his name but a popular keyword which obviously links to his website. While I understand the need to have link-love for useful comments and even encourage it, the name field shouldn't be abused by using keywords like "Web Banner Design", for example.
