I am delighted to announce the release of Angsuman’s Translator Plugin Pro for WordPress 2.x blogs. It provides automatic machine translation of your blog in eight different languages - German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. If you liked my previous translator plugin then you are going to love it. It is search engine optimized, supports WordPress widgets, uses nice permalinks, super-fast (cacheable) and lots more.

This SEO enhanced beauty of a WordPress plugin is coming to your doors very soon. It is widgetized, works behind a firewall, properly translates your english blog to 8 languages (chinese, french, spanish, german, italian, portuguese, korean and japanese) and cache enabled. Why the delay?
I decided to add few last-minute features like caching and widegtizing. We are doing extensive testing for all languages for proper rendering. We overcame lots of defects in the free third-party translation services we use. Of special mention if Chinese translation and url mangling. We also fought (and won) against quirky WordPress url parsing schemes, especially when multiple plugins play with them in incompatible ways.
All known defects have been fixed. We are working on documenting it and polishing it.
BTW: We are also simultaneously releasing a new Theme - Anaconda, which we think is a joy to behold. It will come ready for Translator Plugin Pro and other valuable plugins like related entries, ultimate tag warrior etc.

The current translator plugin won’t translate adsense ads.. will the new version do so?

AdSense shouldn’t be translated. It is against their terms of service.

Thanks. Frankly we are spending lot of time to deliver a high quality product. I am afraid you will have to wait one more day, I promise tommorrow will be it. I am waiting for an all-clear from my developer before I release it.

I’ve eagerly anticipated the release for Monday and it’s like Santa forgot my house for Christmas. Any idea on the ETA for this plugin? Good translation is sorely needed.
