February 23rd, 2009 NEW DELHI - Britain-based IT and consulting firm Invensys Process Systems (IPS) Monday signed a deal with China's Shandong III Electric Power Construction Corp (SEPCO), which is setting up a 3,300-MW power plant in Gujarat, for providing software solutions. IPS will implement its Foxboro I/A Series distributed control system (DCS) technology in SEPCO's plant, being built in Kutch district of Gujarat, a company statement said.

March 16th, 2009 NEW DELHI - India's leading offshore IT and software development company, the HCL on Monday announced that it has bagged a seven year 350 million dollars IT services outsourcing contract from media and marketing house 'Readers Digest Association' (RDA). According to a HCL statement, under the deal, the IT giant would re-build and migrate RDA's mainframe environment to its New Jersey data centre facility.
