459 Bomb Blasts in 20 Minutes Rattle Bangladesh; India Seals Border

August 18th, 2005 Panic gripped Bangladesh following the series of time-bomb explosions in all the district headquarters except Munshiganj that left at least two people killed and more than 300 others injured on Wednesday. Bombers under the letterhead of outlawed Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) spread leaflets during serial bombings across the country yesterday with a demand for establishing Islamic rule, failing of which they will go for counter-offensive against the authorities.

August 14th, 2009 KANNUR - The cyber cell of the Kerala Police has traced down an e-mail threat from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) warning of serial bomb blasts in the state, if a separate Muslim state, comprising districts of north Kerala, is not created. Inspector General of Police Tomin Thachenkery said on Friday that a few media offices in the state had received the e-mail threat on Thursday.

July 7th, 2005 A series of bomb attacks on London's transport network has killed more than 37 people and injured about 700 others according to BBC. Three explosions on the Underground left 35 dead and two more died in a blast on a double-decker bus.

October 8th, 2008 Last year,  31-year-old software engineer Mohammed Mansoor Asgar Peerbhoy, principal software engineer with Yahoo, who is now accused of masterminding terrorist attacks on India, completed a course in ethical hacking and cyber crime, posted his feedback about the course as: "Mind-boggling". Mannu added, "Really unleashes the power of information." You bet! Mannu alias Peerbhoy is a principal engineer / architect at Yahoo India and reportedly earns 19, 00, 000 Rs.

June 18th, 2009 It has been a quarter month since state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) launched its third generation(3G) mobile service - first of its kind in India. Initially the services was rolled out across 12 cities across the country.
