San Francisco- Michael Oher Family Story has been depicted in the sports/drama movie ‘The blind side’ which released yesterday in theaters all across. The movie, which is roughly based on the life of Michael Oher and his life is directed by John Lee Hancock, who is also the writer for the movie. Michael Oher’s book has been the talk of town, specially with its adaptation as the movie. An extract of the book was also published under “The Ballad Of Big Mike”, in the NY Times Magazine.

Michael Oher’s Family Story spans the life of Oher, who serves as the offensive lineman in the NFL for the team Blatimore Ravens. Starting with the childhood of Oher, which remains quite a lot to be desired for, the movie goes on to show his school (Briarcrest Christian School) years, and his adoption too. Michael, in his real life was homeless and was adopted by the well-settled couple, Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy. His adoption led him to discover his own potential, a fact which has not been overlooked in the movie. The screenplay follows his hardships as a student working hard and also managing his spot on the football team, resulting in his becoming a legend eventually

The real Michael Oher Family Story, has been beautifully portrayed in the movie’s screenplay, and has Quinton Aaron playing the role of Michael Oher. His parents, the Tuohy’s have been played out by Sandra ‘Miss Congeniality’ Bullock and Tim McGraw. Another USP of the movie, lies in the appearances of the coaches like Ed Orgeron, Nick Saban, Lou Holtz etc.
