San Francisco- Wednesday had the two finalists, Nicole Fox and Laura Kirkpatrick pitted against each other for the much coveted title of ‘America’s Next Top Model‘. Their task was to shoot a commercial along with walking the ramp, and in both of them Laura came up short of expectations. Being dyslexic, she stumbled on the ramp and failed to emote during the commercials, as was required by her. This resulted the judges, deciding in Nicole Fox’s favor and Tyra declared her the winner of the Cycle 13.

Nicole Fox, 18, is currently a student at the Colorado University and is pursuing fine arts. When she heard, that she had won, she was pretty surprised and said that now, along with being a dork she was also America’s Next Top Model. Nicole Fox was given mixed reviews when Jay Manuel told her , that she had sounded like a snob while reading the commercial and Tyra said that “You are a star. You have it in you.”

Nicole Fox claims that even though she has won America’s Next Top Model, she is still as normal as any other ‘next door girl’ and that on the show, people saw her as shy, awkward and unsuitable for the place. She seems to have learned a lot from the venture, as she herself points out, and adds that the journey was anything but easy.

Now that Nicole Fox has won America’s Next Top Model, she will be shooting with the Seventeen magazine, for her appearance as the covergirl and for a six-page spread inside. Also, a $100,000 contract is now in her kitty with the Covergirl Cosmetics and a representation contract with Wilhemina Models. All this at the age of 18.
