Los Angeles- Ken Ober died on Sunday. The former MTV host who held the audience enthralled with his anchoring of the show “Remote Control” was found dead in his apartment in Santa Monica on Los Angeles. The cause of death has not yet been discovered. Lee Kernis, an employee of the firm that represented Ken Ober, confirmed the reports of death, but could not throw a light upon the reason. Some friends of Ken Ober said that he had canceled a preordained meeting with them on account of headaches, nausea, and other flu like symptoms. They confirmed that he was keeping ill for some time. The police has said that the body will be sent for an autopsy hat will decide how Ken Ober died. They insisted that the case most probably did not involve any foul play, and that the autopsy is only a routine check.

Before Ken Ober died, he was an anchor for MTV’s popular game show, “Remote Control”, that was a lot in vogue in the 1980s. In the show, he used to ask the contestants and members of the audience trivia questions about pop culture. Before that, he was a stand up comedian and an actor. His real rise to fame was however with the MTV show.

No news has been forthcoming of family and friends who remain after his death. Condolences has been offered by the likes of actor Adam Sandler, whose careers he helped to establish. Ken Ober’s loss will be deeply felt by all those who came in close contact with him in his professional and personal life. He was only 52 years old at the time of his death.
