October 6th, 2009 Director A Venkatesh’s Tamil film, Malai Malai did good business at the box office in Tamil Nadu and completed its 50 successful days recently. The film is now coming to Kerala and hopes to be able to repeat its success.

September 21st, 2009 THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - As Muslims offered prayers in large numbers at mosques dotting towns and cities in Kerala Monday, superstar Mammootty too joined in the Eid festivities by praying at an Eidgah in Kochi on his rare off-day. Dressed in a white dhoti and shirt and sporting the traditional Muslim cap, the actor arrived at a prayer ground in Kochi and sat through the morning prayers.

July 23rd, 2009 The state government is to set up a permanent venue for conducting the popular International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). As per the State minister for Education and Culture M A Baby, a Government appointed committee headed by film maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, had recently submitted its report on the matter, which also proposes to start a Film Institute, a video park and film archive by Kerala Chalachithra Academy.
