Elton John hospitalised for serious infection

November 1st, 2009 LONDON - Singer Elton John was Sunday being treated in a hospital for a severe case of the flu and a bacterial infection, according to British media reports. The 62-year-old singer announced on his website that he has had to cancel three more concerts on the advice of his doctors.
