DHARAMSALA - A Tibetan film titled ‘Seeds’ showcasing the lifestyle of exiled youth released in Dharamsala.

The film story revolves around six characters, four boys and two girls, who are bothered about their country, but at the same time have their own ambitions.

The film line revolves around April 16 last year when the Olympics torch was to pass from New Delhi.

Tibetan woman Tenzin Dezil with the help of a few youngsters has directed the movie.

“The film is about the youngsters today in our Tibetan society. They have to think about their own country and at the same time they have to earn their own bread. Most of them work in call centres and if they want to leave their jobs, then they’ll have to think about themselves,” said Dezil.

Dezil added that making movies provides a big opportunity to express themselves.

“I think it’s very-very big chance to express ourselves in this medium. I think there are lots of stories to tell and it’s a very good opportunity to do it,” said Dezil.

Hundreds of Tibetans and some foreigners gathered at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts on Friday for the screening of the film. (ANI)
