September 10th, 2009 Film: "Main Aurr Mrs Khanna"; Music Directors: Sajid-Wajid; Lyricists: Junaid Wasi, Suzanne D'Mello, Jalees Sherwani and Arun Bhairav; Singers: Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Suzanne D'Mello, Wajid, Sunidhi Chauhan, Raja Mushtaq, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bappi Lahiri, Shaan and Neuman Pinto; Rating: ** 1/2 After "Wanted", composer duo Sajid-Wajid returns with the music of another Salman Khan starrer, "Main Aurr Mrs Khanna". The album cannot be considered a sure-shot hit but is decent in parts.

August 14th, 2009 Album: "Dil Bole Hadippa"; Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty; Lyricist: Jaideep Sahni; Singers: Mika Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, KK, Rana Mazumder, Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam, Alisha Chinoy, Hard Kaur and Joshilay; Ratings: *** Those who like Punjabi music are in for a treat with Yashraj Film' latest offering "Dil Bole Hadippa" that has Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. Composed by Pritam Chakraborty, the album has five pacy and foot-tapping numbers soaked in Punjabi flavour.

July 24th, 2009 Album: "Life Partner"; Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty; Lyricists: Javed Akhtar and Kumaar; Singers: Shaan, Antara Mitra, Debojit Dutta, Soham Chakrabarthy, Shreya Ghoshal, Mika Singh, Shakti Singh, Ajay Jhingran, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kirti Sagathia and Kunal Ganjawala; Rating: ** After composing foot tapping chartbusters for Abbas-Mustan's "Race", Pritam has composed music for the director duo's maiden production venture "Life Partner". But the soundtrack is not as impressive as his previous work such as "Jab We Met", "Life...In A Metro", "Dhoom 2" and "Gangster".

July 5th, 2009 Album: "Kailasa Chaandan Mein"; Music Directors: Kailash Kher, Naresh Kamath and Paresh Kamath; Lyricist: Kailash Kher; Singer: Kailash Kher; Rating: ***1/2 Kailasa - the Band, which comprises Kailash Kher and brothers Paresh and Naresh Kamath, has proven its mettle before with its previous albums "Kailasa" and "Kailasa Jhoomo Re". And it doesn't disappoint in "Chaandan Mein" either - the music is soulful and soaked in folk influences, the lyrics are thought-provoking and Kailash Kher's renditions are captivating.

The soundtrack of the film, which stars Sanjay Dutt and Imran Khan, is powerful, hip, edgy and very impressive.

June 26th, 2009 Album: "Love Aaj Kal"; Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty; Lyricist: Irshad Kamil; Singers: , Sunidhi Chauhan, KK, Neeraj Shridhar, Mohit Chauhan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan; Rating: *** After the hit score of "Jab We Met", director Imtiaz Ali has collaborated with Pritam yet again for the music of Saif Ali Khan's production debut "Love Aaj Kal". Pritam has left no stone unturned in creating soulful melodies.

May 23rd, 2009 Film: "Dubai Babu"; Director: Naganna; Cast: Upendra, Nikitha, Saloni, Kumar Govind, Aryan Vaid, Dwarakish, Tennis Krishna, Sundar Raj, Ramesh Pandit and Sathyajith; Music: Sridhar; Rating: *** Upendra's performance dominates director Naganna's "Dubai Babu", which comes across as a racy and enjoyable entertainer. Despite being a remake of successful Telugu film "Dubai Seenu", Naganna has brought about reinventions in "Dubai Babu", specially the foot-tapping original songs.
