Disney’s latest creation CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS is America’s number one movie for the second week running - taking a meaty $24.6 million (£16.4 million) at the box office.

The 3-D comedy beat out competition from new releases Surrogates and Fame, which took a disappointing $15 million (£10 million) and $10 million (£6.7 million) respectively.

Matt Damon comedy The Informant finished fourth with $6,915,000 (£4.61 million). Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself rounds out the top five with $4,750,000 (£3.16 million).
