WASHINGTON - Lily Allen has dismissed reports that she is retiring from the music industry.

The singer had earlier posted a blog entry on her anti-music piracy site, ‘It’s Not Alright,’ which went: “Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record.

“I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade.”

However, the post has now been deleted and the ‘Smile’ hitmaker’s representative has come forward to refute rumors.

“[Lily] is definitely not retiring. It’s all been taken out of context,” Us mag quoted the singer’s rep as saying.

The spokesperson added that Allen has been touring to promote her triple-platinum second album, ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You,’ which released in February this year.

The rep said: “Lily is not thinking about future work because she is still promoting her current album.” (ANI)
