Nana Patekar signs first Kannada film

October 7th, 2009 After working as an assistant director for 17 years, Ramesh Bhagavath is finally ready to be a director with his first directorial venture, Yaksha. According to him, the hero in Yaksha will be the protector of good against evil, as Yaksha according to the Rig Veda means ‘protector of nature’.

October 5th, 2009 Producer TP Siddaraju’s Yaksha had its muhurat recently. Starring the producer’s son, Yogish alongside renowned actors like Nana Patekar and Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani, etc, the movie is being directed by Ramesh Bhagavath who is returning to directing films after 17 years.

September 24th, 2009 Popular Bollywood actor, Nana Patekar is on the brink of making his Kannada debut with director Ramesh Rao’s film, Yaksha. The film will have Yogish and Parinitha playing the leads.
