The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee, is Produced by Aditya Chopra and Directed by Debutant Anurag Singh- Rani attended the festival along with Anurag, where the film had its first screening to an audience of almost 2000 people, who embraced the color, the energy and the spirit of the film. In keeping with the film’s colorful and musical theme, Yash Raj Films ensured that that the film left its mark on the Red Carpet as 20 Bhangra Dancers did Hadippa to the tunes of the local Dholi’s of Toronto, while Rani and Anurag spent almost an hour meeting, signing autographs taking pictures with overjoyed fans.
