Karan Johar gets nostalgic yet again

October 2nd, 2009 MUMBAI - Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Friday said that termed Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar's apology to MNS chief Raj Thackeray as a 'filmi stunt'. Karan apologized to firebrand MNS chief on using the word 'Bombay' instead of 'Mumbai' in his new film 'Wake Up Sid' was nothing but Chavan further said that Maharashtra Government was capable of providing security to filmmakers, and emphasized that Johar should have approached state police if he had any problem.

October 2nd, 2009 MUMBAI - Filmmaker Karan Johar got a rude wake-up call Friday when Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists protested the use of 'Bombay' instead of Mumbai in his latest movie "Wake Up Sid" as soon as it was released. August 7th, 2009 MUMBAI - Fox Star Studios, a joint venture of 20th Century Fox and Star, has announced that it has acquired marketing and distribution rights of Shah Rukh Khan starrer, Bollywood film, 'My Name is Khan'. The film is directed and produced by Bollywood director-producer, Karan Johar.

August 1st, 2009 NEW DELHI - Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday said that he has high hopes with his upcoming film 'My Name is Khan' and anticipate it to do well internationally thanks to Hollywood's Fox Studios, which would be distributing the film. The film is set to create a record ahead of its release early next year with Fox Star Studios reportedly buying marketing and distribution rights for around Rs 100 crore.
