WASHINGTON - Michael Douglas wishes he had taken anaesthesia during his knee replacement surgery as the nightmares of the operation still haunt him.

Contactmusic quoted him as saying: “I stayed up for the operation… They gave me a local epidural.

“The first thing you notice is there’s not a lot of instruments around - there’s an electric saw and a big ball-peen hammer.”

The Oscar winning actor is on the road to recovery and is feeling a lot better with the new knee, although he is still in pain. (ANI)
