September 24th, 2009 Popular Bollywood actor, Nana Patekar is on the brink of making his Kannada debut with director Ramesh Rao’s film, Yaksha. The film will have Yogish and Parinitha playing the leads.

September 22nd, 2009 Popular Hindi television actress, Karishma Tanna, is gearing up to make her Kannada debut opposite Prem. She is learning Kannada for her role and feels that while everything has happened very fast, it is nonetheless for the best.

September 17th, 2009 BANGALORE - Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley is playing a glamorous woman in her first Kannada film "Sreemathi", a remake of Hindi film "Aitraaz", and the former Miss India bought all her costumes from Paris and Bangkok for it. "My designer wanted me to have the looks of glamorous heroines like Parveen Babi and Zeenat Aman -- they were the style icons of the Hindi film industry in the 1980s.

September 1st, 2009 Raaj– The Showman director, Prem, is planning to make a sequel to his hit film, Jogi. Jennifer Kotwal, who was seen in an item number in Jogi, will play the lead role in the sequel.

August 29th, 2009 Ramesh Arvind is touted to team up with Prem for an untitled film which will be directed by S Mahender. Produced by A Ganesh and Umesh Bankar, the film will begin shooting in September and will wrap up in 30 days.

August 13th, 2009 BANGALORE - Kannada actor Puneet Raj Kumar says he had a whale of a time shooting for "Raj: The Showman", which is said to be the costliest film of his career, especially with the actresses Bharathi, Jayanthi and Jayaprada who were his father's leading ladies. "I had a good time working in the film with some great artists including my father's heroines like Bharathiji, Jayanthiji, Oorvashiji, Jayapradaji and Roopa Deviji," Puneet told IANS before going abroad to shoot a song for his next film "Raam".

May 31st, 2009 BANGALORE - The much-awaited Kannada film "Raaj, The Showman", which has popular actor Puneet Rajkumar in the lead, will now be shot in South Africa and Iceland as well. The movie's 35-member team will move to South Africa June 7 to start shooting a song titled 'Hey Paro' in Durban and Johannesburg among other places.
