Last Sunday eve Surbhi Tiwari had a wild goose chase while she was on her way back home.
It so happened that she was returning back from the shoot. As her driver did not turn up that day, she took an auto rickshaw. Like any other actress she was also carrying loads of baggage with her. She kept all her stuff on one side of the auto, and sat on the other, with her purse dangling from her hand.
Near Lokhandwala Bridge came a biker on Yamaha bike and pulled the bag from her hand and drove off. They did chase the biker, but he disappeared in Lokhandwala market. “Autowala was very kind to me, he took me to police station and also stayed back with me till 3 am in the morning there,” she commends. She further divulges. “I had 7,000 cash, two mobile phones and all the essential documents in it. I have filed the case in Oshiwara police station. I have also messaged on my phone to that thief to at least courier my documents.”
Chorbhai did not pay heed to her SMS and so she is busy applying for the documents in offices.
