LONDON - Brushing aside all rumours of financial difficulties slowing down the new Spider-Man musical, producers have said the project will open on time.

Recent reports in some tabloids claimed that preparations for the musical came to a standstill due to cash flow problems on the 35-million-dollar (23.3 million pounds) production, reports The Daily Star.

However, a spokesperson for Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark said the previews of the show would open on February 25, 2010 as scheduled.

Actors Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cummingset will feature in the Broadway gala, which is set to open in New York.

Rockstars Bono and The Edge of U2 have written tracks for the score. (ANI)
