The hottie is apparently upset and angered after the singer called her “disgusting” for letting son Junior, four, catch her in bed with new love Alex Reid at their old family home in Surrey.

“Katie thinks Pete is using Junior to try and gain public sympathy and ruin her relationship with Alex,” the Sun quoted a friend of her as saying.

The pal said: “All the negative press is putting a real strain on their love life. It’s almost as if Pete’s doing it on purpose.”

Also a friend reportedly claimed that the model did not look at her divorce as a “popularity contest”.

However, dragging the children into the mess has probably made her livid.

The insider added: “If the children become involved, that is something that will anger and upset Katie deeply. Claiming what one of their children has said to bad-mouth her in public is a step too far.”

Meanwhile, more friends of Price have denied reports that the bombshell wants to dump Reid.

A friend revealed that they are having “a lovely time” and added: “There is a lot of pressure on them and they are working through the difficulties.” (ANI)
