Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Indian Film Company call off 3 Idiots deal?

October 9th, 2009 INDORE - A week-long 'Global Cinema Festival' began with Bollywood actors adding to the splendour of the event in Indore. Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, actor Sanjay Kapoor, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor and filmmaker Boney Kapoor among others marked their presence at the inauguration of the film festival on Thursday.

September 16th, 2009 Kiran Rao is set to join husband, Aamir Khan on the sets of Raju Hirani’s Three Idiots for the shooting of the final schedule on 21st September. The shooting will have a few pending scenes and a romantic song, featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor and the remaining cast, Sharman Joshi, Madhavan and Boman Irani, who will make brief appearances.

August 31st, 2009 NEW DELHI - Aamir Khan, who is spending time with wife Kiran Rao after her miscarriage last month, says his much-awaited "3 Idiots" will hit the screens in December. "Vinod (Vidhu Vinod Chopra) and Raju (Raj Kumar Hirani) tell me that the post production on '3 Idiots' is progressing well - so by the time I get back, the cut (final product) will be ready.

June 5th, 2009 NEW DELHI - Heaving a sigh of relief after a 14-hour meeting that Friday resolved a crippling four-month dispute between Bollywood producers-distributors and multiplexes, United Producers and Distributors Forum (UPDF) chairman Mukesh Bhatt said that he was glad to have finally achieved "fair rights for Friday nights". "We are so happy that that we have achieved what we had set out to achieve - fair rights for Friday nights," Bhatt told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
