robin-williamsWASHINGTON - Robin Williams is hoping bike riding will help him get back in shape for a tiring stand-up comedy tour this winter.

Williams had to go under the knife in March this year when a valve in his heart had to be replaced.

The comedian realized he was not ready for a full-length show after he did a 20-minute slot and is hoping his bike route workouts will help to get him in shape.

“I went onstage two months ago, did about 20 minutes, and I went, ‘No, I’m not ready yet. Thank you.’ But I’ll have to see if I can do it,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“I’m just going to ride my bike again, which is kind of how I know if I’m in somewhat shape for it. I get out on the bike, and if I can start to do hills that’ll be it,” he added. (ANI)
