She had one of the most dramatic separation from her politician husband. This gives ‘Iss jungle..’ enough reason to rope her in the show, though she has nothing to do with glam world. But sadly, Janta could not sympathies with her anymore when they saw her arguing on the fall of a hat in the stormy jungle.
Why could you not get along with your jungle-mates?
They were all from the same field, and I was the only one to be not from the glamour world.
Would you like to go back in the jungle?
No, I am happy for this long stay of mine in jungle. It is really tough to live completely disconnected from outside world.
Were you consciously talking about Chand on the national channel?
No, as I am not from the showbiz I don’t realize all this. They were curious to know about me as they have been seeing me constantly in media. I was talking to them generally.
What do you have to say about the arguments between you and Aakaash?
Aakaash was expecting me to work in spite of injury and when he himself was injured in the task, he walked out of the show along with others. It’s really unfair.
When others united and quit the show in protest of risky tasks, why did you and Palak refuse to join them?
I knew they would come back again, so why should we make so much noise about anything. I stayed in the jungle to fulfill my commitment with the show.
What was the first thing you did after coming out of the jungle?
I had tea in the flight. I really missed it.
What do you have to say about you confidante Palak?
I am very reserved and it is really difficult for me to mix up with people. Palak would often come and talk to me and try to be friendly.
How was the experience in jungle?
It’s an experience of a life time. I would not have ever touched even a tiny reptile and here on the show I held a big snake. Over all it was OK- not so good, not so bad.
What did you not like about the jungle?
People would talk in absurd language among themselves. I am glad to hear from people that I carried myself with immense dignity on the show. I did get into arguments with people, but it’s absolutely normal to react when someone is unfair to you.
You are now reasonably popular so are you gradually moving into showbiz?
No nothing of that sort. When I was approached by the show I agreed instantly but still, I was not sure of doing it. I was so unsure of doing it that I did not show up for the promo-shoot. But when I realized, if I have committed to something I shall do it.
