Michael JacksonAs the days are passing by, new facts about the legendary pop star Michael Jackson’s death are coming over specially after the the news of the autopsy, that has been done to know the cause of his death. The Jackson family was not convinced about the first autopsy due to which a second one was conducted. Strange facts have come up in the second autopsy specially regarding the Vitiligo scars in Jackson’s body. Jackson’s lawyer Brian Oxman has stated, “And Michael has a distinct pattern of vitiligo scars on his chest. They covered his chest and were in a leopard pattern.”
Michael has got this strange skin disease in 1986 when he was diagnosed with Vitiligo along with Lupus. Both the disease had an adverse effect on Jackson emotionally as due to the change of skin color that affected his appearance a lot. Trying to cover up the disease with make up and pancakes, his look became all the more pale.
Vitiliigo actually is a pigmentation disease where the cells that make pigments, namely Melanocytes, are destroyed completely putting the pigmentation system in one’s body destroyed. Topical steroid creams are the medicine for it in the initial stages. But in case of serious conditions, external treatments like Ultraviolet therapy and photochemotherapy is recommended as it leads to the darkening of the patches where the disease have shown up. This has adverse affects too because it may have a risk of cancer as well as burning or blistering formation in the skin.
It is considered among those diseases from which MJ got exposed to steroids. He also had several other wound and needle marks on his skin as the autopsy declares according to reports.
