‘Kambakkht Ishq’ advance booking opens Sunday

September 26th, 2009 NEW DELHI - The booking of the much-awaited Michael Jackson movie "This Is It" will begin Sunday, a month before the film opens in multiplexes across India. The film will release Oct 28 with over 150 prints.

July 23rd, 2009 Kambakkht Ishq, is aptly described as Kambakkht Hit, and has lived up to its title; with the film garnering a whooping Rs. 100 crores in the first week itself.  Akshay, however, insists that he is happy being a clown and not the king of box-office.

July 10th, 2009 MUMBAI - Despite mixed reviews for its weak storyline, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer romantic comedy "Kambakkht Ishq" has grossed Rs.100 crore (Rs.1 billion) at the box office in its first week. Distributed worldwide by Eros with around 2,000 prints worldwide, "Kambakkht..." hit more than 1,400 screens in India and about 600 overseas in a combination of prints and digital format.

July 6th, 2009 NEW DELHI - Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer "Kambakkht Ishq" that released Friday has recorded an impressive collection at the box office by raking in a whopping Rs.19 crore (Rs.190 million) worldwide on its opening day. Despite mixed reviews and a major thumbs down from the audiences for its weak storyline, the romantic comedy heated up the box office with its first day collections.
