At a time when movies with innovative themes are the order of the day, Suresh Krishna has gone on a vintage rally to render his "Annamalai" in a new colour.

September 18th, 2009 Filmmaker Perarasu has started shooting for his forthcoming film ‘Thiruthani’ at a full swing. The film features Bharath, Sunaina and Raj Kiran in lead roles and Perarasu himself scores music.

August 15th, 2009 CHENNAI - Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali says that Kannan, who is directing "Kanden Kadhalai", the Tamil remake of "Jab We Met", has carefully avoided the mistakes he made in the original version. Speaking at the audio launch of "Kanden Kadhalai" in Chennai Friday, Imtiaz said: "I am confident that the remake too would be successful." "Kandein Kadhalai" stars Bharath, Tamannah and Munna in the lead roles.

August 8th, 2009 Malayalam-Tamil actor, Murali, who died on Thursday, April 6, was cremated with full state honors on Friday evening. The cremation was on the banks of the river Karamana at Aruvikkara near Thiruvananthapuram and the funeral pyre was lit by Deepu, the actor’s nephew.
