November 11th, 2009 TAYLOR SWIFT was among the big winners at this year's (09) BMI Country Awards - she picked up Song of the Year for her hit track LOVE STORY. It's the second consecutive year the star has picked up the coveted prize, she won the same award in 2008 for Teardrops On My Guitar.

November 11th, 2009 Electronic duo EMPIRE OF THE SUN have won three Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) Awards for their hit album WALKING ON A DREAM. The Aussie musicians, who worked with rapper Jay-Z on his latest album The Blueprint 3, picked up nods for Best Cover Art, Best Video and Best Producer.
