LONDON - Susan Boyle, popularly christened Singing Angle, has lost to dance group Diversity in the final of reality show “Britain’s Got Talent”.

Boyle came runner-up to the 10-member group in a shock result following a two-hour final Saturday night, reports mirror.co.uk. She was stunned after hearing the result, but then she congratulated the winner: “The best won. That’s showbiz.”

Asked what she’ll do next, Boyle said: “I hope to get an album out and I’ll just play it by the ear. What a journey. It was unbelievable and very humbling. Thank you for everything.”

Even the judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan - looked stunned by the result, but Boyle graciously accepted defeat.

Diversity took the 100,000 pounds prize and a performance for the Queen at the Royal Variety show.
