October 1st, 2009 The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, has invited filmmaker and educationist Subhash Ghai as a Juror in the final round of judging for the 2009 International Emmy Awards. The nominees are the regional semi-finalists from each of the four (4) Emmy judging regions (Europe, Latin America, English-Language and Asia/Africa/Middle-East).

August 27th, 2009 Writer-director Subhash Kapoor’s film will have Shah Rukh Khan playing a lawyer. Red Chillies Entertainment and Rakesh Upadhyay, a close friend of actor Akshay Kumar, will produce the film titled Jolly LLB.

June 11th, 2009 MUMBAI - Well-known Bollywood producer-distributor Subhash Sagar, eldest son of late Ramanand Sagar, died here after prolonged illness, a family source said. He was 72. He died at the Lilavati Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit a few days back.
