October 9th, 2009 Acid Factory: Fizzles out Rating: 2 out of 5* Starring: Irrfan Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Dia Mirza, Aftab Shivdasani, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea and Danny Director: Suparn Verma Five guys (Danny, Manoj, Aftab, Dino and Fardeen) wake up in a dilapidated warehouse only to realize that they have momentarily lost their memory due to a gas leak. The exit doors of this factory are locked from outside and there is no way out for them.

October 9th, 2009 3 Nights 4 Days: Is a pleasant surprise Rating: 3 out of 5* Starring: Anuj Sawhney, Sameer Aftab, Farid Amiri, Hrishita Bhatt, Madhuri Bhattacharya, Pinky Harwani and introducing Sanda Caktas Director: Devang Dholakia Rahul (Anuj), Rocky (Sameer), Amay (Farid), Priya (Pinky Harwani), Antara (Hrishita) and Zoha (Madhuri Bhattacharya) were best of the friends in Pune University. It's been three years since they passed out and parted ways...they all were completely out of touch, being busy in their respective careers...Now Rocky is getting married in Goa with his two year old girlfriend Marianne (Sanda Caktas) who is from Croatia and is working as a lifeguard...this is the time of reunion...old friends reunite to join Rocky on his wedding in Goa...but things are not the same with Rahul, Priya and Zoha...their personalities have changed, their ideologies have changed, their commitments and goals have changed while Amay and Antara are just the same...

Director: Prabhu Deva If you are crazy about regular commercial masala films leaving your brains at home, Wanted is the right choice.

September 11th, 2009 Aamras: Is without raas! Rating: 2 out of 5 Starring: Vega, Natasha, Maanvi, Aanchal, Zarina Wahab, Reema, Ajay Singh Choudhury, Sunil Sinha and Manoj Pahwa. Director: Rupali Guha Aamras takes one back to the carefree days of life when one does not have anything to worry about.

September 5th, 2009 REVIEW: Fox (2009) Fox: Falls apart Rating: 2 out of 5 Cast: Sunny Deol, Arjun Rampal, Sagarika Ghatge, Udita Goswami, Vipul Gupta and Ravi Gossain Director: Deepak Tijori Duration: 2 Minutes and 34 Seconds Churning out a suspense thriller is not everyone’s cup of tea. Director Deepak Tijori is a recent example.

Rakesh Bedi Director: Indrajit Nattoji Duration: 2 hours Aagey Se Right lacks big time to survive in the midst of giants around it.

August 28th, 2009 Yeh Mera India: N.Chandra strikes back Rating: 3 out of 5* Starring: Anupam Kher, Parvin Dabas, Perizad Zorabian, Vijay Raaz, Atul Kulkarni, Seema Biswas, Rajpal Yadav and Smilie Suri Director: N.Chandra Despite having delivered flops for a long time now, filmmaker N.Chandra is best remembered for his three films – the hard hitting Ankush and Pratighaat and of course the Ek Do Teen number film Tezaab which made Madhuri an overnight star. With his latest offering Y.M.I – Yeh Mera India, Chandra is back to his Ankush-Pratighaat form which made you stand up and notice the raw energy of his subjects.

August 28th, 2009 Love Khichdi: Causes indigestion Rating: 1.5 out of 5* Starring: Randeep Hooda, Sada, Rituparna Sengupta, Sonali Kulkarni, Divya Dutta, Kalpana Pandit, Jesse Randhawa and Riya Sen Director: Srinivas Bhashyam Lifted from a copy of popular American TV series Kitchen Confidential, Love Khichdi is about a casanova chef Vir (Randeep) Hooda chef who is on a bed hopping spree and is busy fantasizing about the many women in his life. Whether it is male hating kaamwali bai (Sonali) or his bookstore running 'intellectual' colleague (Rituparna) or his adolescent neighbour, it doesn’t matter for Vir.

August 28th, 2009 Toss: All style no substance Rating: 1 out of 5* Starring: Ashmit Patel, Prashant Raj, Ranvijay Singh, Aarti Chabbria, Madhurima Bannerjee, Shruti Gera, Rajpal Yadav, Sushant Singh and Mahesh Manjrekar Director: Ramesh Khatkar Toss narrates the tale of a group of friends who on their way back from vacation luckily find a big booty. They decide to divide the amount equally amongst themselves and go their own ways.

August 6th, 2009 Teree Sang: Has its heart in its place…but Rating: 2 out of 5* Starring: Ruslaan Mumtaz, introducing Sheena Shahabadi, Rajat Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher Director: Satish Kaushik While the poster designs of the film with a teenage girl shown pregnant suggests it to be a blatant copy of Oscar winning film Juno, the fact is Teree Sang is not. It is also not really similar to Preity Zinta’s Kya Kehna though it too dealt with a very young unmarried girl getting pregnant.

July 24th, 2009 Perfect Mismatch: Mismatched entertainer Rating: 1.5 out of 5* Starring: Introducing Anubhav Anand, Nandana Sen, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher Director: Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad Perfect Mismatch narrates the tale of an architect Aman (Anubhav Anand) who falls in love with Neha (Nandana). But things begin to turn for the worse as his orthodox uncle (Boman) who has brought him up meets Neha’s dad (Kher).

July 23rd, 2009 Morning Walk: Offers nothing new Rating: 1.5 out of 5* Starring: Anupam Kher, Sharmila Tagore, Divya Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Nargis, Shayan Munshi and Avika Gor Director: Arup Dutta Professor Joymohan (Kher) stays alone in Kolkata. He is a heart patient and when he gets a severe heart attack on his birthday he realizes he needs to spend as much time with his family in Mumbai as possible.
